4.12. Inspection and Test Status |

As products go through the various testing areas, the material and products must carry test identification relative to their status. Identification can include stamps, labels, tags, records, or diskettes. Those products that fail to meet the testing or inspection criteria should be physically separated from the rest. If separation is not possible, a very clear identifier of its unsatisfactory status must be displayed. This identification should follow the product through the entire production process. These records must indicate the authorized person who allowed the proper release of the product. These records shall conform to section 4.16. The standard states that:
